Yonkers Pride Planning Board
Yonkers Pride Planning Board is volunteer-led and organizes Yonkers Pride Festival along with other community events.
As Yonkers Pride continues its work toward LGBTQ+ visibility, educating, empowering, and connecting community. We are currently recruiting for volunteer Board Members with a diversity of voices, plus an awareness of community inclusion along with diverse professional and lived experiences, knowledge, and talents.
As a Board Member, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of Yonkers Pride strategic direction. With Pride Month only a few months away, we will require active participation from all board members. You will be advocating for Yonkers Pride’s mission while actively supporting Yonkers Pride’s annual Pride Festival and other year-round programming.
Yonkers Pride encourages applications from those with specific industry experience to fill specialized roles along with individuals who hold a passion for giving back to the community.
Volunteer board members are not paid for their time but are reimbursed for reasonable expenses related to their duties on the board.
